YouTube Analytics

How do the video plays from JWPlayer count on YouTube analytics? I have the integration with Google Analytics, so when I run the events report on GA, I can see all the metrics from all videos on our site using JWPlayer. All these videos are hosted on YouTube. When I run YouTube analytics, I see two type of report: traffic source and playback locations. Are the JWPlayer video plays included in any of those reports or not?

The numbers do not match for me. GA shows for example 1K views in one month but on YouTube Analytics for the same month, I see less than half or even only 20% under embedded players or external sites.

I just need to understand what reports I should be looking at if I want to see all total of video plays (from our site and from youtube)

Plays through the YouTube API do not count against the original view count on YouTube.
