Adding additional selector buttons in Control Bar (both flash and html5 mode)

Hello,
We have movie website and we want 2 selectors in Control bar: Quality and Language (combination of these selectors will compose file URL). So, i want to add additional button and assign some functionality to it and as i said we want this for both flash and html5 player versions to be same. Is it possible? if not, what is the solution?

We only support adding dock buttons via the API, not the controlbar.

So, there is no way to add custom buttons to controlbar? Or it's not possible only via the API?
