Google Tag Manager

I updated a site using JW Player 6.8 from using the static Google Analytics code snippet to Google Tag Manager. GTM is configured to use classic GA tags, not Universal Analytics yet.

Since the upgrade I no longer get event data from the player, and I understand that __gaq.push() won't work with the GTM code. Is there a way to get JW Player analytics working with Tag Manager (a way to get a datalayer push of the event data maybe)?
