Black bars around video

We are in the process of upgrading from JWPlayer 5 to 6 (and we are using the wordpress plugin). The playback is pretty broken -- there are black bars to either side of the video and if you switch to HD, the video is tiny and there's a big black box around it. We don't want to go live with the upgrade when the player looks like this.

I already tried disabling all of the other plugins, to no avail.

I see black bars on each side. This seems to be related to the stretching used. Have you tried the various stretching options?

What happens if you set the primary rendering mode to Flash?

Well, we don't really want Flash to be primary, but I can try it to see if it looks different.
