Sharing a video
How do I configure in WordPress the videos in my playlist to display the URL of the video link itself, and not the page it lives on?

Ethan, so how can I configure it to show the URL of the video?
I noticed our version is 6.8.4616. Could that have anything to do with it? Wordpress says there is no new update available, but I do know another user who has 6.9.4867. They are not on WordPress, though.

The WP plugin will be updated to 6.9 shortly. However, the sharing is meant to share the link to the page that the video is on, so someone can watch the video through the player, not just get to your direct video file.

but you have documentation on the player says you can configure it to link to the video, as well as give an embed code? My videos won't even show the option to viewers to embed. I'm confused. Sorry to ask so many questions.

Yes, but this is something that is not supported in the WP plugin yet. Those additional features right now only apply to the non wp plugin version of the player.

Will that feature be available to WP with the 6.9 version, do you know?

The 6.9 WP plugin update will simply update the player version that the plugin uses. The actual WP plugin needs to be totally re-factored for sharing to work in the way it does in the player.
