Poster image not working on Youtube video in HTML5 mode

It seems that whenever I embed a Youtube video, the poster image is not displayed when in HTML5 mode. Also on any iOS/Android device the poster image is not displayed. When I enable the Flash plugin on my desktop browser, the post image does show. Any help on this? I am using the 6.8 version of jwplayer in which my former Youtube issues have been resolved by the way.

I tried setting up a public example, but I don't know how to include the jwplayer sources, there seems to be a domain restriction, but you can see it on your Youtube demo-page: http://support.jwplayer.com/customer/portal/articles/1406725-youtube-video-embed. Just set the player up again in the javascript console, including an image url. With flash, it shows. Without it, not.

We fall back to the default YouTube player on devices, and for desktops, we don’t support YouTube HTML5 yet.

It seems that you do. YouTube gets iframed when I disable Flash in Firefox.
But there's going to be no poster-image for YouTube other than with flash then, I suppose?

Yes. We are going to support YouTube in html5 officially in 6.9, due out in June.
