JWPlayer mobile : autostart, quicktime

Hello,

With chrome mobile / safari mobile, the autostart HTML5 is disable. Does JwPlayer have the same restriction ? Can we get around this ?

Function seek(), plays the video, is it possible to disable this play, and wait user play action ?

When I play a video with a Iphone, an app (quicktime ?) opens and plays video. Can it not be played in the browser, in jwPlayer ? I use the HLS flux but I can forced HTML5.

Hi,

Both Android and iOS disable autostart to prevent content from loading without consent from the user. Just imagine how annoying it would be if a web page auto started a video and your data bill was very high.

iOS also makes all videos play in a full screen native player. There is no way to suppress this behavior, as far as I know.

Too many restrictions in these browsers :(

The Browsers should ask the autorization for the autostart like the full screen.
