Why doesn't jwplayer 6.8 play .mov in IE 10?

jwplayer 6.8 won't play .mov in IE 10. i cannot redefine server-side response headers.

Convert your video to MP4. But if the server coughs up the video with the wrong MIME type, and you can't get that fixed, it's time to find another web host.
