JW had a great advantage with Audio Descriptions. Numerous sites across the web sited your elegant solution to this accessibility challenge. So far it has not been available with JW6. I have a need for AD growing as the days proceed. Should I build my own plugin? Or will JW revive or allow others to update the AD plugin to JW6 compatibility. Thanks.
I’m afraid we do not have this plugin for JW6. You can always build a plugin for it though.
It is such a miss that there is no AD plugin. It is needed for accessibility support. I hear that from different sources. People turn to other players for this functionality. Is it also not on the roadmap for a future version?
We are going to add in multiple audio tracks for HLS soon, which is a more standards based way to to it.
