Remove Title From Play button

I have a title but I don't want it to show on the play button. How do I remove it?

You would need to remove the title from your setup script.

I want it to show on the control bar, just not on the play button overlay.

We can’t think of a way to show the title on the control bar with a built-in function, but you could create your own <div> and put the title in there.

I've got a title on the control bar showing here and all I had to do was declare the title.

When you pause the HLS stream the title shows up on the play button overlay. It doesn't do this for the RTMP version of the stream though.

Hi Kenny,

I will escalate this discrepancy between HTML5 and Flash to our engineers. It looks like you’ve listed your RTMP stream first, so Safari on desktops should load the RTMP before the HLS.
