JW 6 creating custom skin

Hello,

We are trying to build a custom skin for the JW 6 Player. The JavaScript is: jwplayer.version="6.6.3896".

We pulled down the SDK (http://support.jwplayer.com/customer/portal/articles/1412123-building-jw-player-skins), it appears to come with skins using a target of 6.7.

Modified the existing skin xml file from the downloaded SDK. Rolled the target back to 6.6, and then to 6.0. Changed the name paramerter in the skin xml file to match the name of the skin file.

Still getting an error: "Error loading Skin - Incompatible player version"

Link here for the test: http://www.hopechannel.no/jwplayer/skin/jwtest.php

What change am I missing? In this file on the website, it looks like maybe the xml tag has been removed? http://developer.longtailvideo.com/trac/browser/sdks/jw6-skin-sdk/skins/six/six.xml

Thank you for your help

Please disregard this question. I have upgraded to version 6.8 JW Player and the skin now seems to work.

My assumption is there is a detectable difference in the Skin when trying to use a modified version 6.7 with the 6.6 player JavaScript....

Glad you got it. If you look at the skin source, there is a target option, which can be set to the minimum player version to support.
