I'm using Wordpress 3.9 and JW WP plugin 2.1.2 and when adding youtube video, the pluging generates a thumbnail url and video description which is correct when entered into a browser but is not found by Wordpress. The videos appear without thumbnails. Is there something you can suggest?

Currently, the player does not utilize youtube thumbnails. Currently, we only support this functionality through VTT files.

The wordpress plugin geneerates a poster image url as well as the link to the video when I add external media to the post.

Why does it generate the Poster image url in the plugin if it's not supported? Is there a way to add a thumbnail to the video manually?
Hi David,
This poster image is accessible via Youtube’s API, which is what we are supporting. The thumbnails are utilized differently and are not able to be pulled, unfortunately.
