I'm trying to find out if it's possible to have overlays in a video that would direct a user to an external URL – a company web page for example. I see that there are various other types of overlays for social media, etc. but was hoping for one that could really contain any custom text/URL I wish to display – similar to how this is done on YouTube.

Hi, I'm following up with that question with two added clarifications:
1) This is within a Drupal installation, using the JW Drupal module. We are using 7.x-2.x-dev version of JWPlayer module.
2) The feature we are really looking for is the same as the Youtube annotation feature, as explained here:

(Scratching head) why don't we just use Youtube?
1) Is this a module that supports JW6? Our official Drupal module is for JW5 only.
2) You would have to basically add these yourself using our API.
