JW Player not working on my wordpress site

I test a new wordpress site which will be launch next month. I've installed JW Player plugin from http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/jw-player-plugin-for-wordpress/ already activated.

This is the url of my new post contains the video : http://gbika.org/home/?p=238 but it just showed a blank post.

This is the shortcode I use:

I've tried another way, using "add media" option from wordpress post and I got this shortcode: [jwplayer mediaid="244"]

But still not working. How can I use this plugin properly?

Hi,

i have a wordpress which uses a commercial lisenced JW player Version 1.5.7

i have tried using "add media" option from wordpress post and I got this shortcode: [jwplayer mediaid="4373"]

But it does not show me any video in the front end n neight in admin. How can I use this plugin properly?

Hi,

I am using JW Player with Wordpress/s2Member/Amazon S3/CloudFront. The JW Player files have been embedded in the web host, Hostgator. JW Player is not a plug in. I have followed the s2Member video tutorial for Amazon S3/Cloudfront/JW Player to the letter. Yet when I open the page to play the mp3 file, the page shows only the code/text.

Because I am a novice, I have checked and re-checked the installation several times, always with the same result. Please advise.

Sorry for the delay.

I have since reversed the installation (as outlined in the s2Member tutorials) and have installed JW Player as a plug-in to my Word Press platform. The tags allow for easy configuration without the need to write code. (Better for me; not a programmer)

JW Player is now inserted twice on the following page: http://www.depressionmeditation.net/aa-draft-audio.

The bottom player was uploaded using the Media tab, and points directly to a file located in my Word Press Media folder: http://www.depressionmeditation.net/wp-content/uploads//wp-content/plugins/s2member-files/mm1wake.mp3

The top player was uploaded using the External Media tab. Presumably this points to S3 bucket with Cloudfront. http://www.depressionmeditation.net/wp-content/uploads/https://s3.amazonaws.com/thedepressionmeditationsystem/mm1wakeey.mp3

When I preview the page and activate the player, they both briefly search for the file, but then show error #2032. The players are obviously looking for the file and cant find it.

What is the format I should be using?

I have searched the help on the Long Tail Video site, s2Member site, and S3. Theres quite a bit of help for programmers, but was unable to find help for plug-in users. Also, I wrote a similar post on s2Member forum. Sorry for any redundancy.

Hi,
I've just installed & activated JW plugin for wordpress. Added a video to a page & it worked just fine. How ever, I've been trying to add that video to my homepage but the video doesn't show up. Can anyone please point me the problem.

That is strange, I don’t see any errors at all.

This Theme seems pretty custom. If you use the default, does it change anything?

Hello,
can You help me ? I can't play my video on my wordpress sie ;( I have instaled "JW Player for WordPress" from http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/jw-player-plugin-for-wordpress/other_notes/
and when i put into my post/page "[jwplayer config="TVC" file="http://tvc.zembala.kylos.pl/videos/PLANET.mp4 ]" (or same code without config var ) video doesn't show...
Please tell me what i'm doing wrong ?

In your WP admin, is the default setting on Flash or HTML5?

Something in your theme (or another plugin) might be causing this. Can you change to default and disable the other plugins to test?

just as of today that jwplayer update messed everything up for my site now any new videos uplaoded does not load and even jpg wont show up under wordpress when uploaded.
