How to disable Embed share

i need to disable the ...i need to disable the embed which help the user to share the clip,
www.avanavaz.com, the embed opens up frequently and disturb the visitor.

Sorry if I misunderstand the question. Could you just download the player again and uncheck "Include the JW Viral Plugin (?)"

Yes, just download the player with uncheck on viral plugin. You will be able to download the player version without the embed option.

Hi

I have downloaded the licensed player and have unchecked the "include Viral plugin" box, but my player-licensed.swf file still shows the embed arrow, and shows the share page after every video.

I haven't used this swf before in any browser, so it can't be my cache.

Have i done something wrong ?

I was having the same problem. I re-downloaded the player without the plug-in and replaced the files on my Web server. I unfortunately was still getting the sharing capabilities. So I then deleted the swf and js file, then re-uploaded the new ones again. That did the trick. Hope this helps.

When downloading the player make sure to uncheck the Viral checkbox, to remove the sharing features.

Hello,

I don't have the same, but a similar problem:

I like to use the share/embed option of the viral player (and it works fine), but the share-menu is very annoying, when it appears by hitting the "pause" button during playback.

To be precise: I wish to have the share/embed option only by clicking on the "menu" button. I don't want to have the menu, by clicking on the pause button.

Is there a chance to disable the share/embed-menu, when hitting the pause button?

I hope, I could make myself clear enough. Looking forward for help, Yours

There are many advanced Viral options that will do this.

Plugin Configuration

Flashvar: viral.onpause = true | false

This flashvar is used to specify whether or not if the Viral options appear on pause. The values determine behavior as follows:
true - options appear on video pause
false - options do not appear on video pause

Flashvar: viral.oncomplete = true | false

This flashvar is used to specify whether or not if the Viral options appear when the playback completes. The values determine behavior as follows:
true - options appear on playback completion
false - options do not appear on playback completion

Flashvar: viral.allowmenu = true | false

Variable to control the menu button in the control bar:
true - Menu button appears in the control bar (default)
false - Menu button doesn't appear in the control bar

Flashvar: viral.functions = embed,link,recommendations | all

This flashvar is used to specify which of the Viral options to include in the options panel. One or more individual options can be specified in a comma-delimited list. The values determine behavior as follows:
emded - include the embed option
link - include the link option
recommendations - include list of recommendations

How do I remove the Viral from licensed version using the glow skin?
I am new to JW Player and I am using JW Player to streaming videos from Amazon Cloudfront and I need to remove the share feature when the video is paused or completes.I have tried adding & viral.onpause=false to the Flashvar and viral.onpause=false but this does not seem to work.
I have tried:

Is this syntax correct or am I missing something?

I checked and unchecked and it did in fact download 2 diff players but they both still have this stupid feature.

I downloaded JWPlayer without the viral plugin. However, the MENU button appears in the control bar. I don't see any reference to the button in the player's skin/XML configuration.

How do I go about removing it?

Chris:

1) Make sure you have downloaded the player from – http://www.longtailvideo.com/players/jw-flv-player/, and uncheck “Include Viral, a video sharing plugin”
2) Upload the player.swf file in the .zip file to your site, replacing the player.swf file that is there currently.
3) Clear your cache. It will be gone now.
