In respect to this blog article... I was hoping to see some information about actually using it with JW Player, why else was it written?
As far as I know you can't use JW Player with Chromecast because it doesn't work with Android?

I sent in a request to become a beta tester if possible. I'm running a bunch of IP cameras through Wowza. I LOVE my Chromecast and I've love to integrate this into my site. Does Chromecast support HLS live streams? What about RTSP? I'm guessing no about RTSP but I've got to imagine HLS will work.
Not yet for HLS, and no RTSP.

And it says the new SDK does support HLS.
We will support it, just not for the beta right now.

I was just able to cast my streams using the Chrome browser on Android using a video tag, so I know they definitely work with Chromecast. When you guys do start testing out HLS streams, I'd love to be a tester if possible. My email is kenny@appnet.com.
