VAST feed returning swf to a html5 only device = error loading media

I've been using the ads edition of the player, and while I have a special VAST feed for mobile devices from time to time this feed will only return a swf file, or even a mov file as a preroll. I wouldn't really mind if it would just skip the ad and play the video, but instead I get a "error loading media" message and nothing more. This happens using chrome for android, for example.
Did I miss a way to avoid this?

The simplest way to reproduce this is to go there: and use the flash default player on a device that doesn't support flash, making it default back to html5, this will use a vast feed that returns swf and mov most of the time (at least here in France). I wish I had a way to reproduce this all the time though.

Thanks for your help.

You should use onAdError() to catch for this –
