Need Help Please

Been searching everywhere and tried countless times to get jwplayer working. Even found a guide for an older version and still can't get it to work.
All I want to be able to do is have a separate html page (ie mp3s.html) and have a playlist for it as well.
I am hosting all of my own mp3's on my server.
I just can't get this thing going.... and I can only find a guide for cloud hosted files.
I've been at this for hours.... maybe I am overlooking something very simple.... but if anyone can give me a walk through on how to do this (I don't really have any idea on coding.... it's all trial and error for me) step by step... I would truly appreciate it.

Well, here's an example of the most basic, self-hosted, single-file player on a page, complete with code that you can copy and paste. Just make sure that all three JW files (jwplayer.js, jwplayer.html5.js, and jwplayer.flash.swf) are sitting together in the same directory:

I don't really want to play just one file. I'm a Musician.... and I want a page that all it has is the player on it, but with a playlist as well so ppl can click on what song they want to hear. I have about 17 songs uploaded as mp3s on my server...... I just want to know how to do it with this program. From what I have read it can.... but have not found any circumstances where it is being used as such.
Can JWplayer do what I am asking????

I don't want any video playback at all. Just audio with basic controls.

Well, you still need some kind of image placeholder for your videos - any JPG will do nicely.

I'll put up a demo page as soon as I can - right now, I'm having some problems with my Internet connection (uploads are failing).

Sorry to bother you again guys....
But I tried setting up a similar page with videos instead. Using the same html code as the mp3s page, but changing the files to youtube links.
Player wouldn't load at all. Do I need a different code for videos???

Glad you got it worked out! I always figure that a clean example is easier to start with than any API in the world. Trying to learn how to set up something by reading a manual is like trying to learn to speak Danish by reading a Danish dictionary. ;)
