White Screen using IE10 &11 Windows7

In the past 2 weeks or so we have been getting calls of people unable to watch video of the Illinois House of Representatives stream. Here is the link, there is only video when the house is in session http://ilga.gov/house/audvidInternal.asp

We seem to have someone new call with the problem every day or so. We are running Flash 12 and have tried resetting IE, compatibility mode, lots of little things that normally work. When we go to watch the video the player buttons menu comes up fine, yet where the video should be remains white. Audio works fine.

If we watch in full screen, it works flawlessly for some, while others just have a scramble of lines on the screen that is unwatchable. Also if you right click where the video should be and get the little menu, you can see the video working fine in the background, but it goes back to white as soon as you exit the settings menu. The problem seems to be happening sometimes in firefox, but chrome works perfectly every time.

We do not control the stream, but have contacts with the office who does. They haven't had any other reports from other branches encountering the problem.

If anyone has encountered this issue or has any suggestions please let us know, Thank you.

We have resolved the issue. I hope this can help others having the same problem.

In IE, go to internet options, advanced tab, check the very first check box for "Use software rendering instead of GPU rendering*". Close and reopen IE and all should be resolved.

Glad you got it. One thing you can do is set the stagevideo variable in the player to false.
