Running locally causes Flash warning
I'm running an instance of the JW Player locally because it needs to run from a webpage stored on a flash drive. The video plays, but Flash throws a warning message in IE8 and Firefox on WinXP that I need to get rid of:
bc.. Adobe Flash Player has stopped a potentially unsafe operation.
The following local application on your computer or network:
C:/my_path.../player.swf
is trying to communicate with this Internet-enabled location:
C:/my_path.../CLICK_ME.htm
To let this application communicate with the Internet, click Settings. You must restart the application after changing your settings.
I've seen instances of this error message all over this forum (people running it from CD's, but it's usually because they're trying to use the viral plugin), but I haven't seen a solution yet. Is it even possible?
