HTTPS "... displayed insecure content from"

I am trying to convince my client to switch to your paid Video Platform, but our site is running over HTTPS ( for HIPPA & HiTech security reasons ) and we are getting the following notices:

The page at [removed] displayed insecure content from

The page at [removed] displayed insecure content from

I can verify that we are making our video request using the HTTPS protocol to your servers, and can see the embed tag is reflected as such, however there is some flash issues happening on your servers ( likely from loading of the skins ) that are causing this issue.

Unfortunately, as I am sure you are aware, this shows up for our users as message in their browser:

"Your connection to [removed] is encrypted with 256-bit encryption. However, this page includes other resources which are not secure. These resources can be viewed by others while in transit, and can be modified by an attacker to change the look of the page."

According to this post:

This was something you were planning to address this business quarter, but it does not appear to be completed.

I am wondering if you can attest to the priority of this issue for your company, as it currently prevents our ability from using your service.

This Wednesday we will release an update that will allow you to update your Bits on the Run players to JW Player 6.3. Once players are updated to 6.3 this should no longer be an issue.

I appreciate the update. Will their be a public announcement when this update is released?

Also, I am currently using the embed code that the video platform provides, I am not directly using JW Player. Can you verify that users doing this will be updated as well? Is there anything I need to do with the videos I currently have to make sure they use your new player once it is released?

Thanks again for this information. Your analytics is far superior to any of the competition and this issues was the only thing keeping us from making our decision.

Yes, this will apply to the updates. Please note that after the release you will need to update players from the player dashboard. We can’t simply apply this update to all players because JW Player 6 is not 100% backwards compatible and we have removed some features other people might still be using, so we want to give existing customers an opportunity to keep on using existing players as is.

Exact details and an upgrading guide will be released after release. We have scheduled a newsletter that will be sent out after this release.
