youtube video always low quality

hello.
i'm using latest version of jwplayer, 5.9, and added the hd plugin.
since a few days, i've seen that youtube videos play in lowest quality, even though HD is on.

i've also checked your link http://www.longtailvideo.com/support/addons/hd-plugin/19312/youtube-hd and it also plays the lowest quality, 240p i think.
didn't had this problem in the past, maybe something changed in 5.9?

try to insert this i the player config:

YouTube recently changed how their API works, so that the initial quality setting is not respected if the player window is smaller than the requested video quality. So if you have a small player and are requesting a high resolution video, YouTube will automatically downgrade the video quality.

This issue will be addressed in the upcoming v6 player, but until then, there’s not much I can offer in the way of a workaround, with the exception of using a bigger player window.

it seems that problem has been solved since yesterday. i didn't change anything in the code, but everything is back to normal now.

Yes, YouTube reverted their API to the previous behavior.
