HTML5 not working in Chrome

Hello!

I am just testing my videofiles in different browsers and i have problems with the HTML5-clips (flash is working).

This is my testvideo:
http://www.ntfiles.de/video/api_test/files/13/515307080f263_Wildlife_360.mp4

When I play it in on my website or at your wizard with chrome (Version 26.0.1410.43 m) on Windows 7, I get an "Error loading media: file could not be played"-error. When i reload often, then sometimes it works...

At a second computer its working with chrome...

jwplayer-version is from today.

thanks for help!
Alex

This file actually works in our Wizard in Chrome for me in HTML5 mode?

Now the question is, why its not working at my chrome.
It has nothing to do with flash, i dont understand that...

Maybe anyone where the file is also not working in chrome?

Where are you located? I wouldn’t think that would make a difference though…

Germany - cant imagine that this is the problem...
Maybe I reinstall chrome for testing.

Another question (I really didnt find any answer here):
How to change quality to hd, if someone clicks the fullscreen button in jwplayer 6? I have two files with different qualities...
I found only this link:
http://www.longtailvideo.com/support/jw-player/29248/sd-and-hd-qualities

thx!

Its me again with a little addition:

I was testing your clip (http://content.bitsontherun.com/videos/3XnJSIm4-kNspJqnJ.mp4) in your wizard with chrome now at 2 different computers with the same hardware and the problem was the same in html5 mode: error loading media: file could not be played.

So the problem cant be the hardware and cant be the file. your player isnt working correctly with some chrome versions in html5!

I found these error in the console, after site loading is finished:

ERROR: Failed to load jwpsrv.

Windows 7, 64 Bit, Google Chrome Version 26.0.1410.64 m, jwplayer 6.3

What to do?

works fine here with Chrome 26.0.1410.64 released today. This version has a new inbuilt flash version.

btw, the 26.0.1410.64m is a beta version.

There was earlier today for part of my afternoon(CET) issue on the internet upon which many sites were not reachable and "timed out".

Sounds to me that your network is blocking our analytics server.

I updated Chrome as well today, still works fine.

Network could be a problem (but why other browsers working then?).
I am goint to test it with another network and give feedback.

Ok.

@Ethan

It was strange today as I could not get to many North American sites whereas I could to European ones.

It looks like a router or a DNS server failed as to the root cause as a pathping revealed a bottleneck in Atlanta.

Weird.

Short Feedback: It also didnt work in another network. So it has to be a bug i think...

I can’t replicate it though.
