JWPlayer 4.0 For Linux


Hi! In softpedia I read that JWPlayer 4.0 can be found for linux. I can't find the Linix version to download.

There isn't a *nix, or Windows, or Mac version. There is only one player that uses the Adobe Flash Player, which is available for all of the common operating systems and browsers.

So, if I DL the zip and unzip files and how do I make it work?
I have Adobe Flash Player and my OS is Freespire 2.04

You need to upload player.swf and possibly swfobject.js (depending on the embedding method that you choose) to your server.

Then go to the Wizard, at the top of this page, and get some code.

There are also lots of helpful tutorials and documentation links at the top of this page.

Place the code from the wizard in your HTML page and upload it to your server.

Call the HTML page from your browser.

Player is not displaying on Mac OS.
I used Javascript API integration.

I works fine on Windows.. I worked on LAMP tech.

@kLink, I think Gerry was asking how can he dl the JWPlayer plugin for Firefox.

@Gerry, it rides on Flash (someone correct me if I'm wrong) Simply having flash gives you access to view content created with JWPlayer
