JW Player for WordPress Not Working

I am using WP 3.5.1 running on Linux cPanel CENTOS 5.9 x86_64 xenpv cloud WHM 11.38.0 (build 18).

I am trying to get JW Player 6 Plugin for WordPress to work and I have been unsuccessful. After installation I created a page and then went to the Add Media button to add my self-hosted video on my server. I chose the file from Media Library.

After I selected the video I clicked on Insert With JW Player defaults. Then it displays the shortcode but nothing happens.
Am I missing something here?

I only have 3 plugins installed and activated. One of them is JW Player, S2Member, and WordPress Importer. The video format I am using is FLV.

I did and I get the same results. I pasted the code into the text but when I clicked on visual it just gave me the code instead of a video box.

I just noticed that when I go to Media Library it says videos = 41 Unattached = 41. Does that mean anything?

Hm, I am not sure what that means. Can you try to re-install the plugin? I have a feeling something is not installed right.

I uninstalled and deleted the files then I reinstalled it from the dashboard. The same thing is happening.

I tried using the JW Player option in the text and it gave me what is here.

I used Add Media and used Insert With JW Player option (blue button) and got this code.

After that I went to Add Media and used the external option and got this code.
[jwplayer mediaid="533"]

Oh, and upload directory is set to 755 for permissions.

Still no luck

Well, after all that I decided to not go with that theme because of other issues. However, I am having similar issues with the current them. The issue is that the button for JW Player is not working and does not appear in the menu in the kitchen sink.
I am now using rockettheme zephyr. I looked for the jwplayer.js and didnt find it.

There is no shortcode or any kind of code placed into the page. Im not sure what is preventing it. At least in the previous issue it was putting shortcode there.

You need to have a player embedded on a page using shortcode with our plugin for it to show up.

Okay, I go to Add Media and I choose the .flv file that I want to embed. (I go to text or visual and I dont see any JW Player buttons.) and insert with JW Player and nothing happens. So, I then click Insert into post and nothing happens. I dont get any shortcode or anything posted in the page.

Okay, so, we got the JW Player to work in the theme on the post. However, when I go to categories and it list the category name with the shortcode to the media. I changed themes and it does the same thing. Is this typical or is there something else that needs to be done?

I would make sure that each place here actually has the shortcode, it doesn’t appear to have it.

Okay, so from your previous post where you said disable the shortcode, I chose the option to strip it. I take it that it wasn't the right thing to select since there is nothing in the pages. I didn't see a "disable" option.
