JWplayer6 - jwpcdn.com?

Why is jwpcdn.com required in order for JWPlayer 6 to work? Can it be disabled. JWplayer 5 did not have this. Thanks

You can disable this by disabling JW Player analytics.

Currently that doesn't work. I heard there will be a fix out in January version 6.2. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
