Downloading JW Image Rotator

I have attempted to upload the image rotator about a dozen times now but both on Windows and a Mac whenever I download the JW Image Rotator and upload it to the backend of my WordPress site it shows an error and not a valid plugin or the zip file shows no content other than a PDF.

Any help would be great being that I would really like to have a professional looking slideshow. My site is www.jofr.org.

Thank you in advance.

John

Ethan's advice from a previous thread:

"If you are using a WP site, just use NextGen, it comes with the rotator."

The image rotator comes with better looking skins that would make galleries look more professional on my site.

Image rotator is old software that isn't being updated by Longtail as far as I can gather. It's also flash so will not be seen on ipads/iphones etc. It also doesn't seem to validate to the WC3 specs.
NextGen has a JQuery or Flash option.

Essentially right now I have the NextGEN Gallery plugin installed but as far as options go with the slideshow they are limiting without the JW Image Rotator. At present I can display a gallery and the reader can click on the photos to go through them but its a really "dull" presentation.

And if I compress the download for the JW image rotator download it shows no valid plugins as an error message.

The Image Rotator is not a plugin for WordPress, that’s why.

And yes, Bill is correct in his statement.
