any one yet come on guys reply
i have a same question that how can i show mogulus tv stream in jw player.. any help?
thx in advance
Yes it is possible.
The rtmp for their proxy is: rtmp://ec2-67-202-20-141.compute-1.amazonaws.com/mogulusproxy
and channel playlist rtmp: rtmp://ec2-75-101-174-12.compute-1.amazonaws.com/mogulus-edge/CHANNELNAME
If you wanna do this because of the stupid google ads, just skip the .js part and go right to the rtmp, like this:
http://mogulus-system.s3.amazonaws.com/web/grid/PlayerV2.swf?version=303&channel=CHANNELNAME
Or you can download the player2.swf file, custemize it and replace it with the flvplayer.swf file, go to the XML file and insert the rtmp link there.
Hope this helps you guys.
Good luck:)
You need an open sorce server streaming FLV player. Jw player is only for local flash video files. That's why it works with youtube files.
Youtube videos are FLV encoded.
Mogulus and the other live streaming flash services are built on RTMP (Real Time Messaging Protocol) streaming.
Which means, you'll need a FLV player that runs remote flash servers.
You can use 2flvadsplayer. With this player u can insert multiple RTMP servers like for example mogulus (rtmp://ec2-67-202-20-141.compute-1.amazonaws.com/mogulusproxy)
Now back to this player, since it's an FLV player it will allow u to play the .flv files you run on your mogulus, ustreamtv or any other places, just as with the movies on www.scumbox.com
They are also FLV format but when u upload them to your mogulus channel they will run on a live server (rtmp). So RTMP is actually a live streaming playlist.
So to run a mogulus channel (a.k.a flash video playlist), you need a player that can play these playlists like I said before. So google for an RTMP Player.
My best advice is xmlthumbplayer-blue. You can download it here: http://www.topshareware.com/rtmp-player/downloads/1.htm
In the file.xml file, find rtmp://72.35.95.24/wowzatest and replace it with tjhe rtmp server link, and replace video.flv with the flv files you have uploaded to mogulus.com.
Do the same thing with all the file.xml files (file1.xml, file2.xml etc.) but with another flv movie link in each .xml file.
Now you have your channel on-demand and live with this xmlthumbplayer-blue player.
If you don't want the channel on-demand, add &ondemandEnabled=false in the index.html file.
This method is also great so u can have full speed on your channel what so ever how many visiters you have, you also don't have to worry about the stupid google ads.
Good luck:)
Hi Ivarn
Could you explain it better for me please, or could you email me to: internetcalls@gmail.com i'm really insterested in it.
Regards
best would be if you could show an example embed code for us newbies....Mogulus is really getting greedy - they are liniting free channels to 50 viewers now.
Live streams work perfectly fine in the player, so you could simply add live streams in a playlist.
Somebody has a Mogulus channel url so I can setup a small example?
Please, you can setup a small example for this Mogulus channel?
http://www.mogulus.com/tvuniversal
Thanks
I need this too JeroenW but with justin.tv channel. my justin tv channel is www.justin.tv/entretengo if this is posiblle, i pay for one license :-)
*Ivarn* i tried what u said man. But its not working for me. I am going wrong somewhere. Please make a video of how to do it and post it in youtube and give the url here man. I am very much interested in it.
And *rock* u asked to play ur show in jw player right? I have seen some sites broadcasting in ustream and using jw player to broadcast the same in their site(without using ustream player)
They broadcast their channel @ http://www.ustream.tv/channel/542423 and they use the code given below to embed it into their site. They use jw player not the ustream player.
This is the code
<embed src="http://www.longtailvideo.com/jw/embed/player.swf" height="380" width="490" allowfullscreen="true" allowscriptaccess="always" flashvars="file=ustream@internap_1_542423.flv&streamer=rtmp://ustream.flash.internapcdn.net/ustream&autostart=true" bgcolor="#000000"/>
but when i tried it with my channel i couldnt do it.
I tried so many things but wasnt successful. May be we should make some modifications in the xml file to broadcast like them. Many sites are doing it nowadays. If someone knows how to do this please help us. Thank u
Does Jw Player runs with Flash Lite 3?
thank you for the good tutorial Ivarn. where should
thertmp://ec2-75-101-174-12.compute-1.amazonaws.com/mogulus-edge/CHANNELNAME be puted in the flvadsplayer config.xml file to stream the media ?
has anyone found a solution for this?
thanks
Seems good!
