The player width and/or height also includes the control bar and/or playlist which you have to make allowance for.
So if the displayarea was 320x240 with a control bar on the bottom, the player would be 340x260 and the preview image would be 320x240.
Thanks or the reply.
This works - I'm Slow
Hi,
but what about a smaller image? I just want to put a small logo as a preview picture, but the logo is allways as big as the screen...
How to solve this?
Thanks for help!
@lefTy:
Thanks for this link. But I dont want to put a logo while playing.
Its the preview image, that is shown before playing. This is the *image* flashvar.
Who knows how to solve this? :)
..I think the resizing of the preview is not possible. I read, that this is a feature, that is comming soon... ;)
So, I have made an image which is as big as the screen and put the little logo in the middle of this image. That works - but this big image has to load everytime the player will be loaded. But it works....
I want to post a new preview image for my video, and no matter what i try the site says my image is too large . what size do i need? please help i'm new to this s#!+.... thanks.
I second the request for having a resizable preview image.
I have many video files and have generated preview images for each one.
I use these video on several different website, each with its own requirements for video player size.
One size of preview image does not fit all.
Can we have a 'stretch' option for preview images please?
Thanks
Russell
