Do you have some URIs for the streams that are using AAC+?
Ajax,
I've two streams: one using mp3 audio and the other one using AAC, both with shoutcast.
No problem with MP3, but it's not working with AACplus.
Do you need the url?
Yes, I'd like the AAC+ stream URI to do some experiments.
You can use this stream:
http://str72.streamakaci.com:7860
and this is another one using port 80:
http://64.15.67.4:80
Please let me know the result of your tests: I'm very interested to use FLV & shoutcast aacplus.
Thanks
It would be great if aac+ / shoutcast support be available to this player... :)
Searching in the Shoutcast forum I found this flash player that streams Shoutcast combing Flash and PHP script to do the stream:
http://forums.winamp.com/attachment.php?s=&postid=2308006
It works fine with a regular Shoutcast/MP3 stream...
Try changing the config.php with the following values and see it working:
$url = "67.19.212.138";
$port = 3965;
However, aacPlus stream does not work in that player (I tried a test stream I have and it doesn't work). Maybe try to figure out how to do something similar with JW Player to make it work with aacPlus streams too.
Hope it helps... :)
Here is the original thread at the Shoutcast forum:

</playlist>
before i streming in mp3 and work fine!
help me please...
i'm so sory my english.
@Zumbate.cL,
aacPlus is not supported.
AAC+ is not supported by Flash...
Flash only understands WAV and MP3 formats.. so unless you can find a way to reprogram flash and the shockwave player to understand AAC+ and/or any other format you want it to, then your going to have to stick with using a media player such as winamp free from winamp.com to play your AAC+ stream....
if you are using windows media player you need to download the AAC+ plugin and then replace your stream url with icyx:// instead of http://
btw... if you ever do get it to work... i would love it, because I too use AAC+ on my radio station.. and would love a way to create a media player for peopel to listen directly from the site instead of having to convince everyone to download winamp or the plugin
Actually... the Adobe Flash Player supports HE-AAC. Reference: *http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=kb402866*
The problem with HE-AAC v1 (trade names: aacPlus or AAC+) and Shoutcast/Icecast streams comes from some headers that are sent and need to be received and decoded by the player.
yeah slave...
but i want listen radio in my website... with flv player.
this site say:
"The JW FLV Player is an easy and flexible way to add video and audio to your website. It supports playback of any format the Adobe Flash Player can handle (FLV, MP4, MP3, AAC, JPG, PNG and GIF). It also supports RTMP, HTTP and live streaming,..."
but i can't play my radio on my FLV Player in my site.
i don't want to my listeners play my radio in your personal players as winamp or windows media.
sorry my english :(

Hi GUys,
The problem isn't the fomat (aac+),
The problem is the *pls, shoutcast playlist format - not supported in jwplayer

AAC+ WORKING IN WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER
DFM TTL,
In Windows Media Player working aacplus shoutcast streaming from long time using the plugin from Opticodec, i still wait for a good solution from JWPlayer regarding this type of streaming to be able to play without a flash server.
Does it work in Firefox also?
i know this is probably the dumbest thing im gonna say but cant you just wright a if,then kinda thing
like in the programing line have it like
IF file=.pls,THEN play as= AAC
i know its probably not that simple but ehh i thought it would try

This player playing acc plus from allnetwork radio any body can give me php code how this is work?
You can see this stream url :
http://radio.allnetwork.or.id:8282/
It's an AAC+ stream. You can't play AAC+ in the JW FLV Player.bc.. Content Type: audio/aacp
I've found a working aac flash player and only need a php script, can you help? you can find it here:
http://rapidshare.com/files/287222821/aacradio.rar the php file is parsed and can't see the code.
Did you check the retriever.php file? the server is shoutcast not a wowza server. Copy the ip address and port and paste it to winamp and check the info and you'll see the shoutcast server or paste it to your internet browser and you'll see the shoutcast d.n.a. status.
Did you look at the files at all?
He *_IS_* using a Wowzer server at: *streamer=rtmpt://gnu.cehis.net:80/shoutcast/cehis-net*
*Wowza Media Server Pro Unlimited with MPEG-TS 1.7.2 build12107*
*_THAT IS THE ONLY WAY THAT YOU CAN STREAM AAC+/AAC-HE TO A FLASH-BASED PLAYER!!!_*
Can any one help?
I need Script for Shout cast streaming using jw player.
I want to stream ACC streaming..
Please! View the code here?
by selvayradio.com think muxos First we ask how to transmit the audio of my radio plus acc format and be heard by a flash player I have seen a website that makes www.cehis.net / stream I downloaded http://rapidshare .com/files/287222821/aacradio.rar I've installed to install the flashplayer I change the php port but does not touch me because I see that even likes to know how to connect as RTMPT: / / gnu.cehis.net : 80/shoutcast/cehis-net But if we see if they connect from a shouscast as we see here is not http://174.142.80.99:8888/ now if they could help or send zipped configuration process two months I have been looking for accplus touch my radio: (
The mount point *http://174.142.80.99:8888/* is serving a Shoutcast stream with the audio encoded as *AAC Plus* which you cannot play in a Flash-based player.
You can proxy the Shoutcast AAC+ stream through a Wowza server, which will convert it to MP3, which can be played with a Flash-based player.
Hello, I can solve your problem here without wowza licensing or aac to mp3 conversion.
Using red5 you can either connect the encoder directly or subscribe to another shoutcast server. The application transcodes the content to flv container.
THe content is not decoded to mp3. IT remains as aac or aacplus.
As well the video nsv can be transcoded to flv without decoding on the server.

Have fun!
@Andy,
How about some "bare minimum" documentation to get us started?
Sure. Some java doc here
http://www.thebitstream.com/shoutcastdoc/org/red5/server/plugin/Shoutcast.html
In the sample application, look at the re5-web.xml file on how to configure input ports.
TO configure input from an external shoutcast server, the sample application would need to be recompiled.
Here at winamp forum there is a thread dedicated to setting it up.
As well a user has created a 'flip video' plugin made for the JWplayer in conjuction with VP6 windows flavored top-down type video.
http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=309888&perpage=40&pagenumber=4
Oh, also here is the first article that explains what was started.
http://www.thebitstream.com/?p=39 The latest version of the shoutcastH264.jar is the result of further development.
Basically you can use winamp shoutcast DSP plugin ( or tv encoder) to stream aac sudio to red5 and then to the flash player.
If you don't want to pay for wowza to listen AAC streams in player, you can use http://erlyvideo.org/ on server. This RTMP server now can restream Shoutcast AAC streams.
I'm trying to configure JWplayer for my shoutcast station anyone can help?
<location>icy://74.222.8.253:8110</location>
also are you streaming in accPlus v1 or accPlus v2 ?
I don't know what software you are using for streaming. But if you use winamp dll for acc streaming it is accPlus v2
See use the orban streamer for accPlus v1 and see if it work. I think the new flash player only support accPlus v1
im not 100% but this info hopefully help you a little.
@aac,
There's nothing special in*aacradio.rar*.
It's just an AAC stream, which you can play in any version of the JW FLV Player.
It's *AAC+/AAC-HE* that you can't play in the JW Player unless you use a Wowza server to proxy the stream.
