Picture goes black, audio remains, when I go to full screen

I am a PBS subscriber for online video watching programs like Masterpiece. When I select "full screen mode" the audio remains but the screen goes black. I right click and that's where I learned that JMPlayer is providing the video. I wonder how I can see these programs in full screen mode?
