Regarding Interactive transcript

Hello team,

It is regarding to interactive transcript demo (https://developer.jwplayer.com/jw-player/demos/innovation/interactive-transcripts/). I get WEBVTT file from automated system where numeric number is not exits in WEBVTT file but it is exists in your caption file(https://developer.jwplayer.com/jw-player/demos/innovation/interactive-transcripts/assets/captions.vtt) example.

Can you please help me to resolve WEBVTT file descrepency issue and also want to remove chapters with different html structure for transcript text.

Hello,

I am not sure whether you are talking about numbers from the individual caption time intervals, for example:

WEBVTT

00:01.000 —> 00:04.000
Your first caption displays here.

or some other number in the file.

Would you be able to submit your support issue through the support portal via your account? If you could send me an example of the type of WebVTT file created by your system, I can take a look.

You can see the difference as numeric extra added between both example.

Can you please help me to resolve WEBVTT file descrepency issue?
Also I want to remove chapters with different html structure for transcript text, How can I achive?

Hi Ujjwal,

What software or platform are you using to generate captions? Are you hosting your captions in the JW Dashboard, or externally on your own server? If you have a simple test page that follows these guidelines:

that will help me troubleshoot your issue further. Do you have a link you could send?
