playlistItem + seek does not work on Chrome and Firefox

Hi,
jwplayer('myElement').playlistItem(index).seek(seconds) is working perfectly on Safari but not on Chrome or on Firefox!
Any idea how to make a link to a certain time of a playlist item that works on all browsers?
