Overlay Ads Custom Feature

HI Jwplayer team,

Question 1 : We want to show overlay Ads in some range like 5 to 10 seconds ans then close automatically
Example : Overlay Ads should start 5th second and end on 10th second etc.

Question 2 : Is it possible to hide close button in overlay Ads, I mean, can we remove close button using jwplayer ad events etc.

1. The duration of nonlinear overlay ads is defined within the VAST tag creative. The VAST 3.0 spec has a minSuggestedDuration parameter for nonlinear overlay ads.

2. This is not possible with built in functionality in our player. You could try removing the HTML element via Javascript, or hiding with CSS.
