JW player quality toggle (HD button) takes time to load selected video quality. Its first complete the current video chunk and then load next video chunk in new selected quality.
Is there a way to start loading the new video quality immediately once user switch the quality?

When a user selects a new quality, the player does immediately begin requesting the new quality segments from the stream but will continue to play the older quality segments that it had already downloaded. This is the expected behavior of the player to eliminate any disruption to playback for the viewer.

Is there any way to force the player to stop current playback and wait till the new segment loaded and start playing new segment with new selected quality?
No, that would not be possible. When a new quality is selected by the viewer, we do not request the higher quality of any segments that have already been downloaded.
