For playing videos in a website we were using JWPlayer 6 library [http://jwpsrv.com/library/.....js]. After Changing to JWPlayer 8 free version
[http://content.jwplatform.com/libraries/Q3PcoYac.js] videos are playing well in website. Based on that website we have an Android app. But the Android app WebView is not playing those videos after changing to JWPlayer 8.

We do not officially support the use of our player inside of WebViews in Android. Does the player work properly in Chrome for Android? If not, please send a URL to a reproduction page showing the behavior.

Yes, It is playing properly in Chrome in Android. Even it is playing fine in IOS app where we have used WebView. It only stopped working in Android app after changing from JWPlayer 6 to JWPlayer 8.

If the player is working properly in Chrome for Android, then there is unfortunately not much we can do about it not working in a webview. When we say we do not officially support something, it means that it may work sometimes in some situations, but not others, and that looks like what you are seeing with JW 6 vs. JW 8.
