how to display jwplayer video captions in a separate DIV so that captions will be placed between control bar and video.

We do not have built-in functionality for this, but you might be able to use Javascript or CSS to move the <div> that we use to overlay the captions over the video. Please see our CSS Skinning Guide at https://developer.jwplayer.com/jw-player/docs/developer-guide/customization/css-skinning/skins_reference/ for more details on the different CSS class names, etc, in our player.
