Volume Not Adjusting

I'm working on a project that requires the video player to start at 10 percent volume, in which I am passing { volume: 10} into the JWCOnfig and it works.

The problem is the volume is either always at 100% or mute. The problem can be seen on this page, and notice its at 10% : https://www.salon.com/category/video

Is this a bug within the player?

Hi,

The page has multiple players on it so it would be hard to troubleshoot. For me to reproduce this issue reliably I will need the following information:

Browser name and version:
Operating System name and version:
Device make and model:
Provide step by step instructions on how to reproduce the issue on your page:
A test page replicating the issue as described in the document below:
https://support.jwplayer.com/customer/portal/articles/2186238-troubleshooting-%E2%80%94-creating-a-test-page

The test page must not contain any additional code or CSS, it must only contain the player and concrete steps to reproduce with expected and actual behavior.

Hi George, Thanks for your reply! Clicking on any video on the page will produce the problem.

Browser name and version: Chrome Version 60.0.3112.113
Operating System name and version: Mac OS 10.12.2
Device make and model: Macbook Air
Provide step by step instructions on how to reproduce the issue on your page:
1. Go to https://www.salon.com/category/video
2. Play any video.
3. Notice the video is 10% but sounds later
4. Change the volumn in the player to any number (1 to 100). Notice the volume does not change

Hi,

Reason I need the demo page is to isolate the code on the page and make sure this is a player issue and not a page code issue.

Here’s my test page:
http://qa.jwplayer.com.s3.amazonaws.com/~george/volume_control_test.html

Can you reproduce on my page?
