JW7 NOT SUPPORT FOR IOS11

I use javascript version of jwplayer7.3 for playing mp4 vedio. But I found that I can't play vedio yestoday after I updated my IPONE to IOS11.
HELP ME TO SOLVE THIS ISSUE. PLEASE.

Can you try updating to a more recent version of the player? The most recent version is 7.12.8 and does work properly in Safari on iOS 11.

We have just spotted this issue also.

We were using JWPlayer version 7.3.4, and videos were not loading in iOS11. Instead, we received the message:

`Error Loading Media: File could not be played`

I have just updated to the latest JWPlayer (7.12.8) on our staging environment, and videos work in iOS11.

It appears that updating JWPlayer to the latest version is the solution, as Alex suggested.

I have now noticed that Youtube embedded videos still struggle to play on iOS11 devices with JWPlayer 7.12.8.

I have seen the alert in the docs stating that Youtube is no longer supported from version 8 (https://support.jwplayer.com/customer/portal/articles/1406725). Does that lack of support include version(s) 7.x?

Hi Chris,

My apologies for the unclear nature of that alert, but we are no longer maintaining our YouTube integration which means we are no longer providing support for it, even in JW 7. I’ll ask the team responsible for the docs to make that clearer.
