How to create CORS file needed to allow external remote access to play on my jwplayer plugin

Hello,

I encounter "Connot Load M3U8 Crossdomain access denied" issue.

I want to allow access remote file to play on my jwplayer plugin using CORS . I tried to setup with https://support.jwplayer.com/customer/portal/articles/1403679-crossdomain-file-loading but I am completely novice and I don't know how to create CORS file needed to allow external remote access and where to put in.

Thanks for your help.

Hi there,

My name is Donni, and I am one of the Support Engineers at JW Player.

Since we can’t help with server administration we recommend you go to enable-cors.org for help in settings up CORS headers. Are you trying to play back files hosted on your server or are you using streaming software like wowza?

Warm Regards,
Donni

Hi.

Thanks for the reply.

All videos are self-hosted in my own server. And I use the jwplayer plugin for wordpress on my website to play videos.

The Wordpress plugin uses links to content in your JW Dashboard. I’m not seeing anything in your account – are you using our plugin? Find out which web server software you are using and then go to the corresponding article on enable-cors.org.
