How can I Configure HLS.JS Provider?

I want to configure the underlying hls.js provider. I can do it in the minified provider.hlsjs.js file but would prefer to know if there is a way to do this via JW setup options.

Basically I need access to advanced settings like hlsjs.liveSyncDuration.
