Is it possible to include captions using iframe html player embed?

In the use case we are currently concerned with, we can only use an iFrame embed ... cannot embed script. This link explains how to do it when you can embed script, but does not include guidance for iFrame embeds:

Hoping this is possible using the iFrame embed jwplayer provides ... appreciate any and all assistance.

Hi,

If you have control over the iFrame source or if you’re hosting the video with JW Player and have added captions to the tracks section of the video then the iFrame can have captions.

For me to reproduce this issue reliably I will need the following information:

Browser name and version:
Operating System name and version:
Device make and model:
Provide step by step instructions on how to reproduce the issue on your page:
A test page replicating the issue as described in the document below:
https://support.jwplayer.com/customer/portal/articles/2186238-troubleshooting-%E2%80%94-creating-a-test-page

The test page must not contain any additional code or CSS, it must only contain the player and concrete steps to reproduce with expected and actual behavior.

Hi George,

Thanks for the response. For clarity we are using the iframe embed code provided by the jwplayer dashboard (assume that's what you mean when you say we are hosting the video with jwplayer). I will follow up with additional detail privately.

In which case your only option is to add caption tracks to the video you’re trying to embed from the Dashboard. If you’re hosting the video with us, the video has a tracks tab, in there you can specify the captions.
