Wordpress plugin for jwplayer

We currently use the old wordpress plugin for out site to post livestream and VOD that are servered from our local wowza server.

We would like to migrate to use the new version of the player but need it to work with the current Word press site as our end user knows how to use the short codes to post content. Is there an easy migration path for us. Does the new jwplayer wordpress plugin support the same short codes or would the end user need to create the videos from the dashboard?

The new plugin only references content that is in your JW Dashboard and cloud-hosted players. If you are using [jwplayer mediaid] URL scheme to embed with the old plugin you can de-active it and install the new plugin. Otherwise you may have to re-embed old content.
