Free Account - Not receiving Custom Parameters in JSON
Are there any limits to the number of requests that JW Player can respond to with set Custom Parameters on playlists? I set some custom parameters on my playlist, and they are no more present in the JSON file feed. Do i have to upgrade my account to regain this feature?
There should not be any limits on the amount of custom parameters a Free account should have. Can you let me know the name of the playlist on your account you are seeing this issue with?
I don't know if you mean the playlistId or the playlist title. There title is 'Testing test'. I upgraded to a Premium account and the custom parameters are still not there. BTW i sent a support request (a feature a the premium subscription provides) and haven't received a response in more than 3 days.
I actually responded to your other case on the 21st, but it looks like my response was bounced back by your mail server:
The response from the remote server was: 550 5.7.1 <itmanager@hinkler.com.au>: Recipient address rejected: User email address is marked as invalid.
My response in that other ticket was that I escalated this to our Engineering team who actually has already resolved the issue and is verifying the fix now. Surely enough, when I take a look at https://cdn.jwplayer.com/v2/playlists/Tgdnfkv7 now, your custom parameters are appearing at the bottom of the feed.
Thank you.
