I am using JWPlayer for the first time. When I put in a video URL and it creates the code, there is a thumbnail that is blank. How do I generate a thumbnail, and is there a way for the first frame of the video to show in the video player?
If you are uploading your video directly to our dashboard, you can select a frame from the video as the poster image or upload your own poster image. Click on your video in the videos section to be directed to the Content Detail page, there you can edit the poster image. If you are hosting your video on your own CDN, you will not have the option to select a frame as the poster image; however, you will still have the option to upload your own image.
