JWplayer - Woocommerce Reports Sales by Product search box conflict.

We discovered plugin conflict between JWplayer 6 and Woocommerce 3.0 reports - sales by product search box.

Woocommerce 3.0 reports- sales by product search box fails to provide useable UI with JWplayer 6 activated.

Anyone experiencing this? Anyone has a remedy?

Please advise best way to troubleshoot this. As Woocommerce has washed their hand off the problem even though this problem appeared after update to Woocommerce 3.0 .

Device make and model:
Provide step by step instructions on how to reproduce the issue on your page:
A test page replicating the issue as described in the document below:

The test page must not contain any additional code or CSS, it must only contain the player and concrete steps to reproduce with expected and actual behavior.

Any browser and version ( latest will do ), we are using linux server (ubuntu 16.0+ ) and any client OS.

Wordpress 4.7.5 with default theme ( e.g. twentyseventeen ) , with plugins: woocommerce ver. 3.0.7 and JWplayer 6.0 version 2.1.12

There are 2 places we can see conflict when JWplayer is activated:
- In WP admin dashboard > product > Add New > in the TMCE form switching between Visual and Text fails.
- in WP admin dashboard > woocommerce > reports > Sales by product > the product search box UI fails.

Both of the above fails can be remedied by de-activating the JWplayer 6.0 plugin.

Thanks. I am looking into installing this update. Apparently, this is a major change from how JW6 worked.

We have a pro version of JW6 based on license key, I assume with jw-player plugin we need to use Key/secret.

Is there a guide you suggest to port my setup ( using our own video library via AWS ) to the new jw-player plugin.

Hoping to have this done by Monday.

Ok, then I am having difficulty with JWPlayer plugin on Wordpress.

It looks like the jwplayer.js javascript is missing as the page is failing to show the player.

My shortcode is looks like this:
[ jwplayer api_key="Myapikey" file="url of some file on AWS cloudfront" ]

Please advise.

I got it working to our satisfaction.

The article above seems incomplete. For my use case, self hosted, external content I needed to install jwplayer javascript. Only then I was able to see rendered player.

By updating to jwplayer plugin from JW6 plugin resolved some of the plugin conflict with woo commerce.
