Visible license key

Hey,

i know there are already some questions about it.
But i do not really understand the effect.
Here is my question:
On some websites which use jwplayer the jwplayer.key is visible and I already tested on a sample local page and I can use it.
But what is the effect of it? Is it a problem to use it or if someone use my jwplayer.key?

thanks for your advice. Yes I use my own key, but I would like to know the effects if someone use my key.
So I can be sure should I hide the key or is no matter.

I would advise you to use the cloud-hosted player as it uses a rotating license key.
