Visibility of JW player in China
Dear JW Player Team,
we would like to have our videos visible in China. Does the JW Player enable the video streaming also in China?

Hi Gianna,
We are doing nothing on our end to block videos streaming from our platform from playing in China. With that being said, if China’s firewall blocks the content, there is not much we can do about that.

Hello Alex, is JW Player as a company at all monitoring the availability of its services in China? If JW Player gets blocked, we might need to consider moving to a different streaming service.

We do not have a way to test the streaming performance inside of China. In addition, due to the fact that the firewall situation in China is always changing, the performance of playback could be different from day to day.
