When I use the html video tag, the video is displayed with a preview even without setting up an image for preview. JW Player if you do not set up an image for preview is just the button and a black background. How do I do automatic preview with jw player?
When you say “preview” do you mean the poster image that we display in the player before the viewer clicks play?
If you upload a video to us, we automatically choose a poster image for you. If you are linking to another video, you can define a poster image in your account dashboard. If you are writing your embed codes manually, you can define a poster image URL to use with the image: ’’ setup configuration parameter.
