Jumping to chapter start in JWPlayer 7?
The behavior when clicking on chapter markers seems to have changed between JWPlayer 6 and 7, and I preferred the 6 behavior for my purposes. How to I get 7 acting like 6 in regards to Chapters?
In JWPlayer 6: When the user clicks on the chapter marker's icon, the player jumped straight to the listed start time of that chapter marker.
In JWPlayer 7: When the user clicks on the chapter marker's icon, the player jumps to the specific point on the time bar clicked, ignoring the chapter marker.
The difference wouldn't be a big deal for short clips or in very large windows... but I'm using the chapters to add motion markers to surveillance footage. The video window is (usually, for now) going to be 640x480, the clip is going to be an hour long (again, usually), and what the user will want to see is right at the chapter marker. JWPlayer 6 behavior in this regard is pretty much perfect for my intended application, as it gives the user an icon to click (and I can change the icon to manipulate the size if desired). JWPLayer 7 behavior is annoying (when compared to JWPlayer 6 behavior, anyway), as the "right spot to click" is smaller than a single pixel on the screen, so the user needs to click a bit before the marker and wait a while for the event to come around. For my specific application, it'd be much better if clicking anywhere on the icon jumped straight to the chapter marker.
Is there a setting I can use to make JWPlayer 7 behave like JWPlayer 6 in regard to the chapter markers? I've tried looking through the documentation, and didn't see it... but then, it wouldn't be the first time I've missed something obvious.
